My weekend volunteering at ASFF

I spent my first weekend volunteering, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend it. Aesthetica Short Film Festival is a BAFTA qualifying film festival, and yes, that means it is a pretty big deal. The festival is held in York every year and is filled with over three hundred short films.

My day in London

A half past six train to London King’s Cross didn’t entirely fill me with joy. I found myself sat at the platform with all the businessmen and women dressed in their fancy suits and their clean shoes.

My time in London

So I haven’t really blogged in a while and there has been one reason for that. I’ve spent the past six weeks interning and it has been fabulous. I’ve worked in different local newspapers for four weeks, but two weeks were spent in London working for GoThinkBig, a career website which offers loads of work placement opportunities as well as career advice.
